Assistant Dawn White
Dawn has been working for Dr Fogarty, at the Ulster
Hospital Dundonald since December 2002. She has also spent several
years working for the Northern Ireland Council for Postgraduate
Medical and Dental Education, based at Annadale Avenue, Belfast. |

Midwife
Priscilla Fergie
Priscilla is our lead midwife. She trained as a
nurse in the Ulster Hospital and qualified as a midwife in 1985
at the Western General Maternity Pavilion in Edinburgh. She returned
to Northern Ireland and worked for a short spell in the Maternity
Unit at Downpatrick Hospital, before returning to the Ulster Hospital.
In 1994 she began working in Glen House. Priscilla is a very experienced
midwife, with an enthusiastic interest in Breast Feeding and is
a very valuable member of staff at Glen House. |

Ruth
Perioli
Ruth trained as a paediatric nurse in Royal Belfast
Hospital for Sick Children. When she qualified Ruth worked in a
children’s cardiac unit for over 3 years. Following this she
worked in general theatres as a recovery nurse for both adults and
children. Ruth moved to the Ulster Hospital children’s department
when she had her family and has been there ever since. She works
in a very busy medical ward for children from small babies to children
up to 14 years of age.
Ruth’s knowledge and capabilities have been a great asset
to Glen House. |

Fionnuala McCourt
"Fionnuala trained as a paediatric nurse in Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children.
When qualified, Fionnuala worked in a paediatric surgical ward and in the Intensive Care Unit as a Staff Nurse. To enhance her professional development she qualified firstly as a Registered General Nurse and then as a Midwife. After she had her family, she returned to work in the Regional Paediatric Intensive Care Unit where she still works with critically ill babies and children up to 14 years of age."
